Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Cattle Grazing At Sunset; Fishing On The River by Edward Henry Holder was auctioned at Sothebys in Olympia in March 2007. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,080.00 (€ 1,589.64) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Edward Henry Holder have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Devil'S Cataract And Victoria Falls, From The West Bank Of The Zambezi River in December 2017 with an auction result of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,440.15).

Die Arbeit Cattle Grazing At Sunset; Fishing On The River von Edward Henry Holder kam im März 2007 bei Sothebys in Olympia zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 1.080,00 (€ 1.589,64) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
