Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 2,350.00 (€ 3,373.46) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Edward Benjamin Herberte have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Day At The Races in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 27,400.00 (€ 17,600.21).
