Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sun Sinking Behind Lambeth Skyline by Edward Beale was auctioned at Bonhams in London in July 2021. The price achieved of GBP 1,020.00 (€ 1,196.16) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Edward Beale achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Trees At Woodspring Farm in April 2008 with an auction result of GBP 11,250.00 (€ 14,342.16).
