Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work The Church of SS. Giovanni e Paolo, Venice by Edward Angelo Goodall was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2021, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of GBP 2,500.00 – 3,500.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for GBP 1,625.00 (€ 1,905.65). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Edward Angelo Goodall achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Bride in April 2006 with an auction result of USD 90,000.00 (€ 71,292.78).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit The Church of SS.
