Auction result fails to reach estimate
In June this year a collector was able to acquire the work Woman in a garden by the sea, Ålsgårde c by Edvard Weie for DKK 80,000.00 (€ 10,739.93). This price was achieved in the auction Modern paintings, sculptures and prints at Bruun Rasmussen and was even lower than the DKK 100,000.00 estimate set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Edvard Weie have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lady with a parasol (Christiansø), 1930s in December this year with an auction result of DKK 350,000.00 (€ 46,953.53).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im Juni diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Woman in a garden by the sea, Ålsgårde c von Edvard Weie für DKK 80.000,00 (€ 10.739,93) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern paintings, sculptures and prints bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von DKK 100.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Edvard Weie auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Lady with a parasol (Christiansø), 1930s im Dezember diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 350.000,00 (€ 46.953,53).
