Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of USD 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 21,250.00 (€ 15,618.11). Admittedly, works by Eduardo Ramírez Villamizar have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Percusión roja in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 112,500.00 (€ 94,553.71).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Composition In Grey von Eduardo Ramírez Villamizar wurde im November 2013 in der Auktion Latin American Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 20.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 21.250,00 (€ 15.618,11) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Eduardo Ramírez Villamizar auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Percusión roja im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 112.500,00 (€ 94.553,71).
