Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work "Okaapid" by Eduard Wiiralt for SEK 10,000.00 (€ 1,116.12). This price was achieved in the auction Eclectic, Stockholm S197 at Bukowski in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of SEK 12,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eduard Wiiralt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Põrgu" (Hell) in December last year with an auction result of SEK 210,000.00 (€ 18,825.01).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2011 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit "Okaapid" von Eduard Wiiralt für SEK 10.000,00 (€ 1.116,12) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Eclectic, Stockholm S197 bei Bukowski in Stockholm erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 12.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Eduard Wiiralt erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Põrgu" (Hell) im Dezember letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 210.000,00 (€ 18.825,01).
