Auction result misses estimated price range
In January 2009 a collector was able to acquire the work A moment of rest from daily chores by Edouard Niczky for GBP 500.00 (€ 562.83). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Edouard Niczky achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Koi Pond in April 2020 with an auction result of USD 37,500.00 (€ 34,230.94).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Januar 2009 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A moment of rest from daily chores von Edouard Niczky für GBP 500,00 (€ 562,83) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 600,00 – 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Edouard Niczky erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Koi Pond im April 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 37.500,00 (€ 34.230,94).
