A top price for Eduard Agricola - as previously expected
In October 2000 Christies in London held the auction IMPRESSIONIST AND 19TH CENTURY ART, which included the work Vico Equense, Gulf of Sorrento by Eduard Agricola. The price achieved of GBP 6,462.50 (€ 11,046.26) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Vico Equense, Gulf of Sorrento is the most expensive artwork by Eduard Agricola that we have observed at auctions so far.
