Despite a disappointment, a good price for Edu Carrillo
This work of art by Edu Carrillo could be acquired at Phillips in London in July this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the New Now auction, the work Painter Smoking changed hands for GBP 8,890.00 (€ 10,371.94) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Despite this disappointing result, Painter Smoking is the most expensive artwork by Edu Carrillo that we have observed at auction so far.
Trotz Enttäuschung ein guter Preis für Edu Carrillo
Dieses Kunstwerk von Edu Carrillo konnte im Juli diesen Jahres bei Phillips in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion New Now wechselte die Arbeit Painter Smoking für GBP 8.890,00 (€ 10.371,94) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Trotz dieses enttäuschenden Ergebnisses ist Painter Smoking das teuerste Kunstwerk von Edu Carrillo, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
