Upper estimate price exceeded by 31 %.
The work Yvonne Printemps au fauteuil by Édouard Vuillard was auctioned at Christies in New York in November 2017. It achieved a price of USD 1,572,500.00 (€ 1,321,650.70), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 31%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Édouard Vuillard achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Misia et Vallotton à Villeneuve in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 17,750,000.00 (€ 14,918,473.69).
