Auction result well in line with expectations
The work French L'Enfant S'Endort by Edouard Toudouze was auctioned at Sothebys in London in May 2008. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 10,335.36) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Edouard Toudouze have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2001 the work La Partita A Carte was auctioned for EUR 19,600.00.

Die Arbeit French L'Enfant S'Endort von Edouard Toudouze kam im Mai 2008 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 10.335,36) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Edouard Toudouze konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2001 die Arbeit La Partita A Carte für EUR 19.600,00 versteigert.
