This artwork by Edouard Pignon achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Paris in March 2019. In the Collection Marcel Arland : Dans L’Amitié des Peintres auction, the work Nature Morte Au Moulin À Café sold for EUR 1,375.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Edouard Pignon achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ostende, 1949 in December 2007 with an auction result of EUR 49,568.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Edouard Pignon erzielte im März 2019 bei Sothebys in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Collection Marcel Arland : Dans L’Amitié des Peintres wurde die Arbeit Nature Morte Au Moulin À Café für EUR 1.375,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 600,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Edouard Pignon erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ostende, 1949 im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 49.568,00.
