Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 94.00 (€ 147.28) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 25.00 – 200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Édouard Jean-Marie Hostein achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Jeune femme au châle blanc in September 2017 with an auction result of EUR 13,750.00.
