Auction result well in line with expectations
The work 'Rangoon. Der Elephant mit dem Baumstamm'; 'Siam, Bangkok' chromolithographed views, c by Eduard Hildebrandt was auctioned at Bonhams in London in September last year. The price achieved of GBP 637.50 (€ 725.54) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 500.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eduard Hildebrandt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ein heiliger See in Birma in September 2003 with an auction result of GBP 57,360.00 (€ 57,777.16).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit 'Rangoon. Der Elephant mit dem Baumstamm'; 'Siam, Bangkok' chromolithographed views, c von Eduard Hildebrandt kam im September letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 637,50 (€ 725,54) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 500,00 – 700,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Eduard Hildebrandt erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ein heiliger See in Birma im September 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 57.360,00 (€ 57.777,16).
