In September 2013 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art Including Orientalist Art, which included the work The Execution Of Mariéchal Ney by Charles-Edouard Armand-Dumaresq. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Charles-Edouard Armand-Dumaresq - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The battle of Bender, which sold at auction in December 2013 for SEK 175,000.00 (€ 19,761.96).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 4.750,00 (€ 5.677,89) und damit 36% über dem oberen Schätzpreis.
