In May 2008 Sothebys in Milan held the auction Modern & Contemporary Art, which included the work Sogno by Edoardo Franceschini. The auction ended at the price of EUR 2,000.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Other works by Edoardo Franceschini have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2008 the work Senza Titolo was auctioned for EUR 2,500.00.
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Mai 2008 führte Sothebys in Mailand die Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sogno von Edoardo Franceschini zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 2.000,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Edoardo Franceschini konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2008 die Arbeit Senza Titolo für EUR 2.500,00 versteigert.
