In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work On guard sold for GBP 1,750.00 (€ 2,025.29) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Edmund Aubrey Hunt - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The young angler, which sold at auction in March 2002 for GBP 4,465.00 (€ 7,299.10).
