Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The Hulk, 1974 by Edmund Arthur Harvey was sold in the The Wrobel Collection The Sea and the Shore auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in November this year. It achieved a price of AUD 984.00 (€ 596.64), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 23%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Edmund Arthur Harvey - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Zinneas, which sold at auction in August 2004 for AUD 3,824.00 (€ 2,219.45).

Die Arbeit The Hulk, 1974 von Edmund Arthur Harvey wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion The Wrobel Collection The Sea and the Shore bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von AUD 984,00 (€ 596,64) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 23%. Für andere Arbeiten von Edmund Arthur Harvey mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Zinneas beobachtet, die im August 2004 für AUD 3.824,00 (€ 2.219,45) versteigert wurde.
