A top price for Edmond Tschaggeny - as previously expected
The work Hurrying home before the storm by Edmond Tschaggeny was auctioned at Christies in London in January 2008. The auction ended at the price of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 8,043.26), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Hurrying home before the storm is the most expensive artwork by Edmond Tschaggeny that we have observed at auctions so far.
