Despite a disappointment, a good price for Edmond Delescluze
This work of art by Edmond Delescluze could be acquired at Sothebys in London in December 2015 for an unexpectedly low price. In the 20th Century Art – A Different Perspective auction, the work Belgian l'Adoration changed hands for GBP 8,125.00 (€ 11,033.36) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Despite this disappointing result, Belgian l'Adoration is the most expensive artwork by Edmond Delescluze that we have observed at auction so far.
