Despite a disappointment, a good price for Edmond Bénard
In September 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work Le peintre Charles-Théodore Frère dans son atelier, 1880-1900 by Edmond Bénard for EUR 1,500.00. This price was achieved in the auction Tableaux 1400-1900 at Christies in Paris and was even below the estimate range of EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Despite this disappointing result, Le peintre Charles-Théodore Frère dans son atelier, 1880-1900 is the most expensive artwork by Edmond Bénard that we have observed at auction so far.
Trotz Enttäuschung ein guter Preis für Edmond Bénard
Im September 2016 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Le peintre Charles-Théodore Frère dans son atelier, 1880-1900 von Edmond Bénard für EUR 1.500,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Tableaux 1400-1900 bei Christies in Paris erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00.
