Auction result well in line with expectations
In October this year Phillips in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work Power Is In You by Edgar Plans. The price achieved of HKD 533,400.00 (€ 64,504.66) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 400,000.00 – 600,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Edgar Plans achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Juanín in April this year with an auction result of HKD 840,000.00 (€ 857,804.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Phillips in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Power Is In You von Edgar Plans zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 533.400,00 (€ 64.504,66) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 400.000,00 – 600.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Edgar Plans erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Juanín im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 840.000,00 (€ 857.804,35).
