Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Juanín by Edgar Plans was auctioned at Phillips in Hong Kong in October this year. It changed hands for a price of HKD 825,500.00 (€ 99,828.63) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 650,000.00 – 850,000.00. Admittedly, works by Edgar Plans have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Juanín in April this year with an auction result of HKD 840,000.00 (€ 857,804.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Juanín von Edgar Plans kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Phillips in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 825.500,00 (€ 99.828,63) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 650.000,00 – 850.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Edgar Plans auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Juanín im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 840.000,00 (€ 857.804,35).
