Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Driver by Edgar Plans was auctioned at Phillips in Hong Kong in October this year. It changed hands for a price of HKD 139,700.00 (€ 16,894.08) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Edgar Plans achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Juanín in April this year with an auction result of HKD 840,000.00 (€ 857,804.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Driver von Edgar Plans kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Phillips in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 139.700,00 (€ 16.894,08) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Edgar Plans erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Juanín im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 840.000,00 (€ 857.804,35).
