A top price for Ed Dwight
In October 2013 Christies in New York held the auction Interiors, which included the work Three Musicians by Ed Dwight. Here, the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 3,250.00 (€ 2,390.76). With this result, Three Musicians is even the most expensive work of art by Ed Dwight that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis für Ed Dwight
Im Oktober 2013 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Three Musicians von Ed Dwight zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 3.250,00 (€ 2.390,76) einen neuen Besitzer. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Three Musicians sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Ed Dwight, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
