This artwork by Ebrahim Olfat achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Dubai in October 2012. In the Modern and Contemporary Arab, Iranian and Turkish Art Part II auction, the work without title sold for USD 14,375.00 (€ 11,093.53) - well above the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00. This high result makes the work without title the most expensive artwork by Ebrahim Olfat that we have observed at auctions so far.
