A top price for Duchoiselle - as previously expected
The work French la Pêche, La Chasse by Duchoiselle was sold in the 19th Century European Art auction at Sothebys in New York in May 2013. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 87,500.00 (€ 67,369.88) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, French la Pêche, La Chasse is the most expensive artwork by Duchoiselle that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit French la Pêche, La Chasse von Duchoiselle wurde im Mai 2013 in der Auktion 19th Century European Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 87.500,00 (€ 67.369,88) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
