Auction result well in line with expectations
In October last year Artcurial in Paris held the auction Generation 21 by Artcurial, which included the work This way up - 2010 by Dran. The price achieved of EUR 24,928.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Dran - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ciao, which sold at auction in May this year for EUR 94,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober letzten Jahres führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Generation 21 by Artcurial durch, in der auch die Arbeit This way up - 2010 von Dran zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 24.928,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Dran mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ciao beobachtet, die im Mai diesen Jahres für EUR 94.500,00 versteigert wurde.
