Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Untitled (Rappel) by Dr. Lakra was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in November 2014. It achieved a price of USD 17,500.00 (€ 14,069.79), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Dr. Lakra - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (Pomada), which sold at auction in October 2007 for GBP 24,500.00 (€ 35,183.61).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Rappel) von Dr. Lakra kam im November 2014 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 17.500,00 (€ 14.069,79) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Für andere Arbeiten von Dr. Lakra mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (Pomada) beobachtet, die im Oktober 2007 für GBP 24.500,00 (€ 35.183,61) versteigert wurde.
