Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Group Of 5 Works: Grupo 1 (Set Of Four) And Untitled by Dr. Lakra was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in November 2014. The price achieved of USD 17,500.00 (€ 14,069.79) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Dr. Lakra - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (Pomada), which sold at auction in October 2007 for GBP 24,500.00 (€ 35,183.61).

Die Arbeit A Group Of 5 Works: Grupo 1 (Set Of Four) And Untitled von Dr. Lakra kam im November 2014 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 17.500,00 (€ 14.069,79) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Dr. Lakra mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (Pomada) beobachtet, die im Oktober 2007 für GBP 24.500,00 (€ 35.183,61) versteigert wurde.
