Auction result well in line with expectations
The work View from Paddington to the Bridge by Douglas Robert Dundas was sold in the The Fred and Elinor Wrobel Collection Online auction at Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts in September this year. The price achieved of AUD 1,599.00 (€ 974.60) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 1,500.00 – 1,800.00. Admittedly, works by Douglas Robert Dundas have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Self Portrait in August this year with an auction result of AUD 6,765.00 (€ 4,036.91).
