Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2007 a collector was able to acquire the work The Gypsy'S Warning by Doris Zinkeisen for GBP 1,080.00 (€ 1,602.67). This price was achieved in the auction 20th Century British & Irish Art at Sothebys in Olympia and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Doris Zinkeisen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait Of Mrs Sanders Watney in May 2020 with an auction result of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 27,752.75).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2007 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit The Gypsy'S Warning von Doris Zinkeisen für GBP 1.080,00 (€ 1.602,67) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 20th Century British & Irish Art bei Sothebys in Olympia erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.200,00 – 1.800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Doris Zinkeisen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait Of Mrs Sanders Watney im Mai 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 27.752,75).
