Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Doris Zinkeisen could be acquired at Christies in London in October 2008 for an unexpectedly low price. In the 20th Century British Art auction, the work An afternoon in the park changed hands for GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,593.30) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Doris Zinkeisen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait Of Mrs Sanders Watney in May 2020 with an auction result of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 27,752.75).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Doris Zinkeisen konnte im Oktober 2008 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion 20th Century British Art wechselte die Arbeit An afternoon in the park für GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.593,30) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Doris Zinkeisen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait Of Mrs Sanders Watney im Mai 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 27.752,75).
