The work Water Lilies by Donna Schuster was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in May 2012. The price achieved of USD 40,625.00 (€ 32,857.49) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Water Lilies is the most expensive artwork by Donna Schuster that we have observed at auctions so far.
