A top price for Don Prechtel - as previously expected
In November last year Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction Western Art, which included the work Cochise 12 x 9 in. framed 19 x 16 in. by Don Prechtel. The price achieved of USD 1,020.00 (€ 988.08) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Cochise 12 x 9 in. framed 19 x 16 in. is the most expensive artwork by Don Prechtel that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im November letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion Western Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Cochise 12 x 9 in. framed 19 x 16 in. von Don Prechtel zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.020,00 (€ 988,08) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Cochise 12 x 9 in. framed 19 x 16 in. das teuerste Kunstwerk von Don Prechtel, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
