Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work Cleopatra by Domenico Puligo for USD 4,375.00 (€ 3,895.47). This price was achieved in the auction Old Master Paintings and Sculpture at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Domenico Puligo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait Of A Lady As Saint Catherine Of Alexandria in December 2013 with an auction result of GBP 170,500.00 (€ 205,085.06).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Cleopatra von Domenico Puligo für USD 4.375,00 (€ 3.895,47) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Old Master Paintings and Sculpture bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Domenico Puligo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait Of A Lady As Saint Catherine Of Alexandria im Dezember 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 170.500,00 (€ 205.085,06).
