A top price for Dolf Henkes
The work Landscape with houses and trees by Dolf Henkes was sold in the PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS auction at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2004. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 1,600.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 1,792.50. With this result, Landscape with houses and trees is even the most expensive work of art by Dolf Henkes that we have observed at auctions so far.
