Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Female nude by Dod Procter was sold in the 20th Century British Art auction at Christies in London in July 2008. It changed hands for a price of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 11,911.04) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dod Procter achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Girl with a Parrot in June 2015 with an auction result of GBP 140,500.00 (€ 198,103.24).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Female nude von Dod Procter wurde im Juli 2008 in der Auktion 20th Century British Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 9.375,00 (€ 11.911,04) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 7.000,00 – 10.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dod Procter erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Girl with a Parrot im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 140.500,00 (€ 198.103,24).
