Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2016 Sothebys in London held the auction Including the Bar-Gera Collection of Soviet Non-Conformist Art, which included the work Musicians By The River by Dmitri Nalbandian. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,129.66) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dmitri Nalbandian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Daisies in November 2012 with an auction result of GBP 175,250.00 (€ 215,890.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2016 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Including the Bar-Gera Collection of Soviet Non-Conformist Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Musicians By The River von Dmitri Nalbandian zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 3.500,00 (€ 4.129,66) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dmitri Nalbandian erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Daisies im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 175.250,00 (€ 215.890,22).
