Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Early Spring by Dmitri Nalbandian was sold in the Russian Pictures Including Works on Paper by Natalia Goncharova and Mikhail Larionov auction at Sothebys in London in December 2015. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 11,033.36) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dmitri Nalbandian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Daisies in November 2012 with an auction result of GBP 175,250.00 (€ 215,890.22).
