Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Case with Objects in the Ground by Dmitri Krasnopevtsev was sold in the Post-War and Contemporary Russian Art from a Private Collection auction at Sothebys in London in December 2021. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 63,000.00 (€ 75,145.79). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Dmitri Krasnopevtsev - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in November 2007 for GBP 122,900.00 (€ 172,091.80).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Case with Objects in the Ground von Dmitri Krasnopevtsev wurde im Dezember 2021 in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Russian Art from a Private Collection bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 63.000,00 (€ 75.145,79) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Dmitri Krasnopevtsev mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im November 2007 für GBP 122.900,00 (€ 172.091,80) versteigert wurde.
