This artwork by Djamel Tatah achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in April 2013. In the “Cent Briques pour Madagascar 2” Sale benefiting to Ecoles du Monde auction, the work Sans Titre, 2012 sold for EUR 1,100.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 501.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Djamel Tatah achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in March 2016 with an auction result of USD 37,500.00 (€ 32,923.62).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Djamel Tatah erzielte im April 2013 bei Artcurial einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion “Cent Briques pour Madagascar 2” Sale benefiting to Ecoles du Monde wurde die Arbeit Sans Titre, 2012 für EUR 1.100,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 501,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Djamel Tatah erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im März 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 37.500,00 (€ 32.923,62).
