Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Dirk Kruizinga could be acquired at Christies in Amsterdam in January 2005 for an unexpectedly low price. In the PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS auction, the work A still life with gladiolas and chrysanthemums changed hands for EUR 300.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 500.00 – 700.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Dirk Kruizinga - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Houses in Hoorn, which sold at auction in January 2002 for EUR 1,057.50.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Dirk Kruizinga konnte im Januar 2005 bei Christies in Amsterdam für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS wechselte die Arbeit A still life with gladiolas and chrysanthemums für EUR 300,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 500,00 – 700,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Dirk Kruizinga mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Houses in Hoorn beobachtet, die im Januar 2002 für EUR 1.057,50 versteigert wurde.
