Auction result misses estimated price range

When the work A Sheet Of Studies Of Gooseberries, Currants And Rosehips by Dirk Jan Hendrik Joosten was auctioned at Sothebys in London in July 2008, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,446.79).
