Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Gevallen oorlogsgod - Fallen God of War, a puppet of Harry Tussenbroek by Dirk Filarski was sold in the Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings 'Including Indonesian Art'. auction at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2008. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 3,500.00 – 4,500.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 3,750.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Dirk Filarski have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Alpenglooien; the Alps in June 2012 with an auction result of EUR 27,400.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Gevallen oorlogsgod - Fallen God of War, a puppet of Harry Tussenbroek von Dirk Filarski wurde im September 2008 in der Auktion Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings 'Including Indonesian Art'. bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 3.500,00 – 4.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 3.750,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Dirk Filarski auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Alpenglooien; the Alps im Juni 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 27.400,00.
