Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A still life with flowers by Dirk Filarski was sold in the Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings 'Including Indonesian Art'. auction at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2008. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 2,250.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dirk Filarski achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Alpenglooien; the Alps in June 2012 with an auction result of EUR 27,400.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A still life with flowers von Dirk Filarski wurde im September 2008 in der Auktion Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings 'Including Indonesian Art'. bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 2.250,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dirk Filarski erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Alpenglooien; the Alps im Juni 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 27.400,00.
