Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2005 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS, which included the work Gemaal aan het water - Landscape with pumping engine by Dirk Breed. It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,440.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Other works by Dirk Breed have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2006 the work Barsingerhorn was auctioned for EUR 2,400.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2005 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit Gemaal aan het water - Landscape with pumping engine von Dirk Breed zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.440,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Andere Arbeiten von Dirk Breed konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2006 die Arbeit Barsingerhorn für EUR 2.400,00 versteigert.
