Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Ding Baoshu achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2018. In the Modern Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Spring View sold for HKD 47,200.00 (€ 5,314.79) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 20,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Ding Baoshu; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Calligraphy sold at auction in October 2017 with the realized price of HKD 76,700.00 (€ 8,441.74).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ding Baoshu erzielte im Oktober 2018 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Spring View für HKD 47.200,00 (€ 5.314,79) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 20.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Ding Baoshu; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Calligraphy im Oktober 2017 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 76.700,00 (€ 8.441,74).
