Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work White painting by Didier Marcel for USD 62.50 (€ 40.09). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Didier Marcel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sans Titre (Les Labours), 2011 in October 2013 with an auction result of EUR 45,166.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2008 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit White painting von Didier Marcel für USD 62,50 (€ 40,09) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Didier Marcel erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sans Titre (Les Labours), 2011 im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 45.166,00.
